PHEME or OSSA was the goddess or spirit (daimon) of rumour, report and gossip. She was also, by extension, the dual spirit of fame and good repute in a positive sense, and infamy and scandal in the bad.

Homer calls her Ossa (fame) and the Romans personified her as Fama.

Personality and Weaknesses:

Ossa is the Goddess of Rumor and Fame. The biggest gossip in all of Olympus.

She is plain and simple, a bitch. A feminist, lesbian bitch with domme tendencies. She has a fully equipped dungeon room in her penthouse apartment and prefers her women to be on the submissive side...mostly. Her best friends are Aphrodite and Peitho, and each of them have shared her bed on more than one occasion. Neither are what anyone would consider submissive.

Ossa hates men with a fiery passion, has absolutely no use for them, except to drive her car. She likes few men in general, two being Momos and Hori. If you are male? Just assume she hates you.

Another subset she treats like dirt? Her help. Ossa is Meryl Streep from The Devil Wears Prada. She has no tolerance for incompetent morons and believes mortals that work for her in any capacity to generally be that way. She knows this, however, and pays well to keep her employees around through her nasty treatment. She only wants them to leave if SHE tells them to.

Her job entails running the highest grossing gossip rag in the US. She controls the others, of course, but that's not generally known. Ossa is smart with her money and has built up a fortune throughout the years. While not as rich as Zeus, she is a billionaire in her own right.
